I Am Every Buddhist

What do you do when someone asks you to speak publicly about your religious beliefs?

Even if you dread it.

*Laugh*

  1. This title has caused Chaka Khan to enter my head singing "I'm every woman; it's all in me!" over and over and over. If that was your intent, shame on you. ;)

  3. Good job... it's hard to say no... even if your saying it on the inside.

  4. That is something that I refuse to discuss ... mostly ... and never ever publicly ..
    I always end up insulting someone without ever having the slightest wish to.
    I had the Great Buddhist Challenge today .. a fly got into the house. You will understand.
    And yes, he is still here.

  5. I find it interesting (and impressive) that you've practiced for two decades and only recently uncovered the third jewel. I have no direction without sangha and never would have made it 20 years on my own. Speaking of sangha, it's good to know there are Jewish Buddhists and Christian Buddhists and Muslim Buddhists and atheist Buddhists and so on.

  7. This is a very, very good thing.

    Buddhists come in every size and color.

  8. @Ali: I bet I could do it if I tried harder. ;-)

    @aBroad: You couldn't nudge him out?

    @Stopcallingme: I did flirt with another temple in the mid-nineties but it wasn't a serious relationship.

    @sherri: Someone should record it.

    @Empress: We are living among you. Watch out.
