Now I Know Why Teenagers Are So Irritable

My teeth hurt so much I don't even feel like writing about it.
I just hope my face doesn't wind up on some orthodontia porn site.

  1. LMAO uhm, does that actually even exist? I thought I knew about every perversion possible but... uhm... you might have proved me wrong. *runs to google it*

  2. I didn't know it existed until I started reading some forums on adult braces. They had all these warnings about not posting a full face photo because the braces porn folks were stealing them.

    *Laugh*

  3. I can't believe I just Googled "Rule 34."

  4. Rule #34, there are NO exceptions

  5. That's it. I added "Rule 34" to the tags.

  6. I find myself sweating just a little bit at the sight of your....braces?

  8. Rule 34 LMFAO

    I couldn't google the braces fetish at work, but sure there's some stuff out there, which I'll look in detail at home (to educate myself for sure) and taking a second look at that picture, not bad, not bad at all.... *panting*

  10. I love Freudian Slips. I wonder if there's a porn site for that too.

  11. OMG. Orthodontia porn site is the funniest thing I've heard all day. Thank you!

  12. Ugh, I remember it well. At least you can have a glass of wine to take the edge off. Off to google rule 34.

  13. Aw, man. I just googled Rule 34, too. Heh. RAWR.

  14. Geez, porn is the last thing you want to think about when you first get braces. It will get better. And thanks for tipping me off to Rule 34!

  15. When I was a teenager, they almost put me under and broke my jaw. Instead, headgear for several months, braces for years, mouth gear for a long time after that. Yes, it sucks.

  16. 3 words just made my day:

    1. brace
    2. porn
    3. folks

    I'd put a vid of my husband snoring on my blog but I'm afraid of the snore porn peeps!

  17. You have beautiful skin. It detracts from the braces. :)

  18. Feeling your pain. I'm 36 and just had them put back on 6 months ago. They come off in 3 weeks... I'm counting the minutes.

    And now I'm off to google rule 34...

  19. Oh, great big hugs, and I'm sending you love and virtual ibuprofen.

    It's gonna be worth it!!!!

  20. I learned about the braces fetish thing a few years ago when a friend of mine's wife got them. The pictures were posted on Flickr with a "braces" tag and had several hundred views in a few days.

    Same thing with shoes and feet. Tag a photo with "braces," "shoes," or "feet" and watch the views pile up.

    Creeps.

  21. I almost googled Rule 34 too!

    Feel better, Mandy!

  22. @Amanda G. I'm glad my suffering can amuse you.

    ;-)

    @Amelia: Being of legal age when one has braces has its advantages.

    @See Kate Run: You know you think I'm theckthy.

    @Blissed Out Grandma: Exactly.

    @Algernon: You have just made me grateful for not having headgear. Things are looking up!

    @Nikki Rules: Snore porn! It even has assonance or consanance, whichever one applies.

    @Mel Heth: Thank you. And thank you ProActiv.

    @Juliana: I'm in for 14 to 18 months. *SIGH*

    @Susan in the Boonies: I wish I could mainline Ibuprofen right now.

    @Brian: That makes me laugh. And then it makes me worried. I'd better check my IceRocket stats.

    @Jules: If you build it, they will come. Rule 34!

  23. Oh, that's right!

    I'm just remembering "Something about Mary" and the brace fetish references.

    The woods is full of 'em.

  24. This brings me back to the days when I had my wisdom teeth out, braces and headgear all before ANYONE else. In like Elementary school. It was hell. Painful. Awkward. HELL.

    ...but this is about your pain.

    So - god - I'm so sorry!!

  25. You mean a Rule #34 exists exists for even MY lowly profession - pool cleaner boy??

  26. Mandy my brother who is 57 is getting
    braces for his teeth. I was 26 when I had them. 57 seems old for braces but apparently 57 is not old anymore and my brother is very self conscience and a little vain about his looks. His wife just spent 10 grand on getting all her teeth perfect. So he decided to get his fixed. Also, you have nice white teeth. White teeth with sparkling wires and ...and, Warning RULE 34 Alert ha ha funny. Anyway some tips. Braces can cause you to have less saliva (dry mouth.) It causes tooth decay, bad breath and receding gum lines. Try using Biotene It has no alcohol or artificial sweeteners and restores salivary enzymes that protect the gums and teeth . Also it soothes pain after routine adjustments. Also Green tea is proven to help prevent receding gum lines. I drink a full bottle of snapple green tea daily.

  27. You poor thing. My son had braces and he moaned quite a bit initially (um, the first three weeks, as I recall). It will get better, and in the meantime everyone is supposed to be nice to you. Demand that they comply.

  28. Porn braces. Wow. I'm way behind the curve now. And I'm kinda glad.

  29. Orthodontia porn? I've found my perversion.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Char: But the results will be fun!

    @The Embrace: I remember the braces but not the fetishists.

    @Just Me: Oh, I'll survive. And it's not as bad as having your wisdom teeth out!

    @Robert the Skeptic: Bow chicka bow bow.

    @The Last Santa: I hadn't heard fo BioTene or Green Tea...I will try both! If wanting to keep my teeth and not get dentures is vanity, then so be it!

    @Pearl: You are always so wise.

    @Fragrant Liar: Ignorance is bliss.

    @Buddhy: :-#

    @Tony: Nice to meet you?
